signumYagami • 5 yr. ago. Likely it counts some amount of time passing as the quest progresses, if you don't have the money set aside to pay the workers you would fail the quest, it's basically assuming since so much time passes you fail your obligations to divish and thus fail.
If there's ANYONE around the camp, even unaware of your presence, even sleeping, even several meters away, the game will make them automatically aware of the sabotage. So they run up to you and attack you. So for the cuman camp, the only way I could go through with the sabotage was killing EVERYONE in camp from stealth.
